Before heading off for our last trek we got to see a family of awesome silver leaf monkeys hanging out near the jetty and playing around. Then, with the scrapings of a data signal we booked some flights on the iPhone and started off; this time to Tajo waterfall.Cluttered and muddy root systems meant it wasn't the most relaxing trail but it was a good workout and the waterfall was both deserted and pleasant. We got to see some more probiscis monkeys and some cool centipedes and bugs etc, but the highlight was still just the quiet of the jungle - excluding the often very loud cicadas, frogs and monkey calls.
By the last 400 metres of our walk back the legs were starting to go from navigating the thick roots and muddy puddles in the denser parts of the jungle.
Fortunately we made good time, grabbed some food and took a cruisy walk back to the jetty in time for our boat back to town where we enjoyed a light meal and a quick beer before the aches and fatigue took us.
