The picture shows a satellite view of Carefree Resort where my summer cabin is located. From here most of my fishing adventures begin. Within a radius of 75 km.there are 39 "Pot Hole Ponds" most of them teaming with rainbow trout and others are stocked with brookies or browns. Rivers like the Red Deer and the Clearwater flow through this area and are terrific fisheries in their own right. I must also include great streams, like the Raven, North Raven and Prairie.
