We left Sterling Park in Greenville about 10:45am and the temperature is already 77 degrees. It looks like it's going to be a great day. There is a forecast for rain and perhaps strong winds later in the day but I believe we will be set up by that time.
At around 1pm we were about 50 miles from our destination and I got a shot of the first palm tree I saw. Hallelujah! I love palm trees! I always wanted to have one at home but couldn't figure out how to get it to live at home, inside in a pot. LOL!
We got to Anchors Away, our home away from home, about 2 o'clock and the weather is beautiful. This is a pretty awesome place! You never know exacly what you are getting from pictures on the internet but I think this really worked out. They have bingo on Wednesday nights, breakfast on Saturdays in the community room. I hope we can meet some new friends. I will get more pictures of our new neighborhood tomorrow.
The rain held off untile we got setup and for the first time we are in a park that has cable. But.....of course we couldn't get the cable to work inside the RV. After a trip to Walmart Jerry got it running on at least one TV. He will work on the other one later.
Really tired we just had late snacks and went to bed to watch the end of a DVD we had started the night before. Bye all until the next time.....

Carolyn I want it to be water I see, that narrow band beyond the RV. Bob says it's road. Is he right? Looks heavenly. Cold here.
Jane A Rhude Unfortunately, the only water at our RV park is the pond that people can fish in. We are about 10 minutes from the beach.
