March 20, 2006 Spring Break. Everyone is doing something cool and I haven't any clue what I want to do. The thing is I am on a very, very small budget. All the money I had to spend for Australia, went toward buying my plane ticket to get here, so I only have about $300 for Spring break, which is a trip to the local beach and back almost. I won a trip to Byron Bay the first week at school. It may be that I only do that. All my friends are going to New Zealand, the Great Barrier Reef, and whatever budget breaking location there is. However, all of their Dad's are paying for them to go on this superfluous trips. I rather not do that much, but I would really like to do something. So, I am trying to do a few days in Sydney. One of my favorite Christian Bands, Newsboys is playing at a church called Hillsong. However, just to do that is so expensive. The hostel alone cost about $200 for a few days, and for a hotel in Sydney is $200 for one night. So we will see. I have this weekend to plan my trip.
