Week 2-Arrival at Newcastle University It was a smooth plane ride into Newcastle. We were all on a small Virgin Blue plane, and when the flight attendant announced our arrival, we all clapped and cheered. The flight attendants found our excitement to be quite hilarious, adding to the jubilee of the day. So, I am getting over the first day here. We have such a busy day tomorrow, with a lot of international orientation meetings. We received a complimentary bag and shirt. Inside the bag had a lot of pamphlets and brochures about the Newcastle area and the university. We had a toga party tonight, which was quite interesting. For some girls, togas aren't suppose top cover most your body. It was fun; we danced and met other students here. They are all really nice, and really willing to get to know anyone. Well, that is pretty much it; I am going to bed now because I have a long day ahead.
