Day two and it started off even hotter. Got a decent nights sleep decent breakfast then walked to the weirdest place I've ever seen - Christiania. It's a free city in the middle of Copenhagen known for legal weed and people have built their own houses from a bit of rubbish, wood and optimism; it was set up in the seventies so all the free spirits are old and crippled but new people have joined so its like a more radical Camden without the emos. it's by a huge lake and has loads of shanty buildings but it's amazing.
Had a kebab there which was really cheap, maybe because they don't pay taxes. But then where does the healthcare come from?
Didn't get food poisoning from that or the calamari, then went swimming in a fenced off pool in the river. Watching fat people try and dive was the best bit, but crisps, mini muffins and playing cards or sunbathing was second. The day was boiling but by the time we got to the station to check train times it was pissing it down - hopefully it will make for a cooler night because I can't stand Oli moaning again... Nah I'm joking
Watched the match on a big screen by the harbour after 3 McCheeseburgers, and suddenly there were loads of Spanish fans in Copenhagen...

neale Bummer about the iphone charge?....and love the diet by the way! Poor Howard Webb, dream to nightmare in 120 minutes of Dutch cynicism and mayhem, but at least he had three 17 Muswell Hillians screaming at the telly for a Spanish victory! All well here. x
