Josie's Giant Adventure
Here I am sitting at my desk in St James's Park thinking I should really get on as there is rather a lot of work to do before I leave (8 working days left). But I thought I'd spend the time to set this website up so everyone can see where I am and find out what I've been up to and what I've seen.
How different life will be in 3 weeks time. No routine, no getting up early, (apart from to catch trains, boats and planes, or to watch the sun rise in spectacular surroundings, or set off on treks to ancient ruins etc etc), no deadlines, no gym, no boring moments, no daily tube journeys. However, it does all feel a bit scary, but that's probably part of the fun??
Stress will come in a different form - back to basics - the necessity to
find a place to sleep, a way of getting from one place to the next and how to decipher menus to end up with something to eat that isn't a hamster or a sheeps testicle.
Anyway, enough speculation about culinary delights from around the world, stand by for the first installment on my giant global adventure.
Here's the flights booked on my round the world ticket for a rough idea of where I'm going to be when:
5th November - London to Lima via Madrid
20th December - Buenos Aries to Santiago
26th December - Santiago to Aukland (arriving on 28th December)
1st February - Christchurch to Melbourne
1st March - Cairns to Darwin
6th March - Darwin to Singapore
28th April - Bangkok to London
