Howdy!

so today we were up bright and early for our day trip on a 'big boat', first stop was maya bay. The sun was shining and the crew were playing country music... hmmmm interesting! Then as we moved past Phi Phi Don island, the sun dissappeared much to everyone's horror! And sadly failed to make an appearance for the rest of the day :( what is it with boat trips and rain with me?!

Well we were determined not to let the absence of sun spoil our day, so me and caz hopped into a kayak and set off for the shore, with one paddle, which little old weak me made little use out of with the wind not helping me at all. Caz decided to take over and we soon got to the beach for a little more posing and gazing at our surroundings. It was beautiful (the sun did actually come out for 5 mins while we were on the beach :) ) but spoilt so much from the number of people that were there. Was a shame, our trip to monkey bay yesterday was so much more idilic, with just us on the beach.

Unfortunately the rest of the day was a bit of a wash out. The rain certainly came, and we couldnt stop to snorkell at most of the places we were meant to because the sea was too rough. I did manage to get in the water at Shark Point where I tried to find some sharks but didnt, and also at monkey bay, where i found only a few fish and many many nasty sea lice!! The trip was even ended about 4 hours early because of the weather, and we weren't going to be able to see a sunset with so much cloud in the sky. What a dissappointment, but never mind eh.

So tomorrow we are off to bangkok for our last stop before caz comes home and i go to see Gilly in LA! Very sad to be at the end of this part of my trip, but again looking forward to the next!!
