Day 3 Back to Leticia

Waking up in the morning was quite pleasant watching a family of monkeys above in the trees, and the macaws flying overhead! After we finished packing up we headed back to the other camp for breakfast. I took out one of their little wooden traditional canoes for a bit of a paddle and then it was back to Leticia. Of course on the way back we get into the middle of the Amazon River and the boat runs out of gas.....
We ended up having to flag down another boat and he towed us to where we could get fuel. We made it in the end it just took an extra or hour or so.
I bought my hammock, got my supplies for the boat and enjoyed a little bit of the festival that was going on in Leticia.
