Tikal sunrise
We woke up at 5:30 and were in the park by 10 to 6, we ended up jogging more than half the way there which turned out to be big-time overkill.....
It was quite foggy and misty so it wasn't such a great sunrise but it was still just the experience of being there for it sitting on top of the temple made thousands of years ago!!!
After the tour groups left we stayed for another half an hour and enjoyed it and then we explored the park trying to keep away from the crowds, and we succeeded!
All in all it was a great day with a new friend and some truly truly amazing Mayan ruins!
