Tikal sunset
I purchased a round-trip ticket to Tikal but I couldn't buy my ticket until 330 if I wanted it to be valid for the next day so I ended up sitting at the park gate for four hours! At least there was a restaurant and store and people to chat my limited Spanish with....
When I finally made it to Tikal I stayed at the Jaguar in and met a French Canadian named Pacifee! She was by far the most hippie type person I've ever met! We walked in to the park and made it to the highest temple to watch the sunset! Just as I had planned, they make you leave the park right after that so we just went back and had a bite to eat. I pretty much went to bed
right after that as we had made a plan to wake up for the sunrise.
