Okay, so this is my first proper blog! I apoligise for the lack of information, Im still trying to figure out how to use this "blogging site". I am also very sorry about my spelling, i know it is terrible and i feel extreamly sorry for the kids I will be teaching! Anyway....

So, since my "introduction" my life has turned into a exciting, stressful, bizzare, whirlpool of shopping for vest tops that are just the right thickness, not too low, not too see thorough; looking for skirts that cover my knees, finding Cotton underwear (which I can tell you is surprisingly difficult; though if you are looking for some, go to M&S - its not just cotton underwear its Marks and Spencers Cotton underwear). What else have I been going? Hunting for a rucksack has been horrible, getting the correct footwear, buying giant pencils and badges! it will be worth it though. The worst thing of all has been saying my final goodbyes to all my amazing friends and family, though its not really final is it, I will be home in less than 365 days! How scary... Oh and also drinking a riduculous amount of Mochas!

I am currently sitting in my bedroom in Stow, and its my last EVER (everyone has been saying that this is the last time you will do this, the last time you will do that... I am coming home you know!!!!) night in Scotland, no, its deffinately not my last night in Bonney Scotland!

But its my first night of a truely magical adventure and I cant wait for it to begin... at the moment mum is trying to figure out how to work my bag, its actually rather amusing to watch, i have told her to leave it, but no, mothers shall be mothers! She has been tackling that rucksack all day. Dad is in bed and so is Ryan (he gets the day off school tomorrow, thinks he is going shopping after the airport) Oh mum now has two rucksacks attached to herself, god only knows.

Im nervous now though, maybe the fact that Im going away for a year to another country has just hit me. Im sooooo excited though and cant wait to get to Africa. Anyway, thats all I really can say just now, i dont know what else. I have packed my years worth of everything into 20kg and Im set to go!

Next time you hear from me I will be one month into my project, well actually, I may have internet in the first few days in Windhoek, so I shall let you know how im doing! It may take me a while to work out photos, but they will be up soon enough!

Okay, im leaving in 7 hours! Best get some sleep. :)
