My feet are starting to get really itchy, and after double checking with a registered Doctor I am not suffering from a terrible case of athletes foot. The countdown is really coming down to the wire now. I am one week away from the start of my trip.

I want to start already - I want to get on my plane, have horrible plane food...and no leg room so I can start my experiences. I can't wait to hear the local accents, eat the wonderful food, see the sights - swim in the culture.

Truth be told, I am also getting nervous. I keep hearing stories from friends and colleagues about the 'horrors of international travel'. I keep reminding myself that that is their experience, not mine. I know it will be wonderful......giddy up!
