Hello you beautiful people, i have only realised i am probably the youngest person to do a blog like this, but i find it kills some hotel time where i dont want to move but want to do something productive I definitly know where to begin on this one... waking up at 6:45 in the morning! however it may of been early but we went back to the brooklyn dinner to have a proper New York american style pancake. Oh my gosh those pancakes were amazing with the maple syrup. To add to my experience i added a side of applebees bacon. The bacon was crispy and well cooked and with the maple syrup it was to die for. All this was alongside watching a marathon that was about 2 minutes away (New york half marathon) Full up. Insead of an expensive taxi we took the subway trains to get to ground zero site. Cut short we went through security (Yet again) We entered into the memorial site for 9/11. It was peacful, despite there being loads of crowds it was still really quiet. I took plenty of pictures of the gaping waterfull which marked the area; with all the names of the fallen engraved in the metal around the sides. Lasting about 2 hous we went into the gift shop and brought a wrisband and a lanyard (for my keys).
I was deteminded to find a shop with imagionary foundation within. In new york we went past loads of H&M's and Footlockers. but i dont go to either so we had to search deeper within the city. Using the power of internet we all tracked down a downtown store that was equivalant to a New York two seasons. Being the first place i found proper brands, i had to buy a shirt. Going into others we went through many other stores for all of us.. including an awsome Urban Outfitters! I nearly forgot, after the ground zero traveling upstreet we went across brooklyn bridge and were nearly to the otherside Makes shaldon bridge look easy to go across compared to the length of this bridge. There were some great veiws and photo oppertunitys. Along the rails there was the love bond key locks, i diddn't have a lock on me so i wrote mine and shola's name down on paper and tied it to a bit of rope on the bridge instead, just to be english haha Jumping foward once again after all the shops we took the subway back, to go right near central park whcih was alongside of 59th street. There were Loads of horse carridge ( so expensive though! $4 a minute per ride) Going to the center of the park, we hit where the ice rink was and got to order a footllong proper American hotdog, nom nom nom! Traveling around a bit after and seeing the zoo, we headed back to the hotel as it was about 5:50pm and now i am here Thank you all for reading, I will catch you all tommrow
