Yo my homies!
Well this is an update for yesterday and today so i am killing two birds with one stone.(Yesterday) After having a cooked waffle with yogurt and strawberry (Americans pronounce yogurt so weirdly) we started to head downtown towards times square, where we found the biggest toys R us i have seen, there was a whole spongebob section it was amazing. Plus loads of life size lego designs. After wlaking through teh city we hit the empire state buidling where after getting security check (AGAIN) we were aloud to then go straight to the top with our express passes, ha for people who had to wait The veiws were incredible and we could see 360 veiw of most of New York, i persosnally had the fear of dropping my camera majority of the time. After going back through the levels as we had reached the 104th floor. After chillaxing in the hotel it hit 7:30, we took a typical yellow taxi, Where we arrived in broadway at one of the venues, this is where we went too see the play matilda (a very well written, clever play with songs by Tim minchin). This lasted about 2 hours so by the time it was finished i couldn't think of much to do other than sleep; as it was about 11pm. To sinish i had a sneaky Macy D's.
(Today) Getting woken up early by the parents which is always fun, i got ready quickly (about 8am) Getting a te=axi we headed straight towards the ferry at battery park Cut short we went through the long ques and set off on the boat where the million picture taking began as we went into the ocean towards statue of liberty. Going through security on the island the tree of us hit the top of the crown ( by walking up god knows how many stairs, how americans are known for being fat with this much walking is a mystery). The crown was really small spaced but the veiws were amazing and it was weird to say we were in the statue of liberty. Skipping on as this blog is getting really long, we travelled to soho(a more rural end of the city with much more shops to look at). We found a nice cafe for a tea along with some essistial clothes shops and a book shop. This was baout 6 hours into are day and came to the conclusion the hotel would be a good idea Me and Dad will visit central park later before it darkens to just see it before we leave While taking the subway there were alot of american women that sounded like the 'AINT MOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT' person haha A fight actually nearly broke out and i also got trapped in the train door because people wouldn't move out the way
