Hi all,

Happy New Year to everyone.

After a great 5 and a half weeks in Goa we have now made our way to Thailand. Goa was a great and we travelled down south and up north to see as much of it as we could. We spent xmas and new year with Kirsty and Craig and had a great laugh with them, it was nice to have company from home over the christmas period and there knowledge of Goa!! It was more like a holiday though and we decided to leave before we spent all our money, staying in hotels rather than guest houses!

We arrived in Bangkok on 4th Jan 08 and spent 2 days exploring the city and its temples. We enjoyed Bangkok more than we thought we would and could of stayed another couple of days but we have made our way up to Chiang Mai now and have been here for 2 nights. We had to fly because all the buses and trains were full but this cut the journey to an hour instead of 12 so we were not complaining! This has also been a couple of days of sightseeing as you can tell from our pictures!!

We leave Chiang Mai tomorrow and make our way to Laos with a 6 hour bus journey with a night in a small town and then a 4 hour boat journey down the Mekong river arriving in Luang Prang in Laos on Thursday! Suppose this is what travelling should be like!

Well this was just a quick update and we'll keep you posted on our next moves. Hope everyone is well and we miss you all.
