So im in shanghai now, really crazy place to be honest, very very busy with ppl and cars and motorbikes and pushbikes and trams!!! have nearly been run over about ten times but im sure ill get used to it! as im only spending a day or so in shanghai i just dumped my bags in the hostel and took to the streets and wondered around really, saw some of the bund and ppls square and just generally explored... crazy to think that the chinese used to be communist as everyone has their own little business or trying to sell you stuff! pretty cheap out here too as long as you go to the right places.. i havnt got long left in shanghai so im off to see a bit more before a 15 hour train ride to meet my mate ben in Xian!! not lookin forward to jouney but will be really good to see ben and his cousin... toodaloo xx
