hey everyone, ive been a bit slack updating this recently,mainly because internet in china is terrible!! Also i have been pretty busy, went to the terracatto warriors in Xian which were amazing! really really interesting and crazy that they were built over 2000 years ago.. there are so many of them!! it must of taken them ages and ages! Xian was a cool place, we stayed in a hostel in the cantre of the city near the muslim quarter where we found cheap, spicey and really good food. this was also the day i discovered dumplings and my life hasnt been the same since!! (went to a chinese girls house the other day for dumpling party!! but will talk about that later) We only stayed a few days in Xian before we took a 19 hour train jouneyto Chengdu which is in Sichuan province (famous for spicey hotpot).. We were a bit late trying to get to the train station and couldnt find a taxiso we jumped n theback of 3 bloke's mopeds with all our bags and they took us to the station!! was scary but funny looking back now! chengdu is basically a massive city full of crazy drivers on mopeds and bikes.. but there is lots to do in the surronding area,we saw the largest budda in the world, hiked up leshan mountain and went to a panda reserve.. also had dumpling party!! all of these were bloody amazing and will be some of my best memories of china. Ben and Timtin decided to extend their visas which takes 5daysso we endedup stayin in the hostel for ever!! but made lots of friends!! and learnt some chinese!! my friend bens real name is actually dan and we foundout that in chinese BenDan means stupid!!! fantastic!! anyway ive gotta go, havejust finished a 22 hour round trip to lingjang which looks really nice but im bloody starving!! hope everyone is well love jonny xxx
