Arrived at last. Long flight and crazy flight too, never had so much turbulance every half an hour. Nice lady at check-in at Heathrow told us that we'd missed the plane as well when we still had an hour to go, what a way to start it all off !!! Managed to rush thruogh after another lady told us the first one was lying and that the palne hadn't left. What a place Rio is and how hot !! Surreal to see the Favelas for the first time in person, some places are so poor !! Reached our hoste, Rio Backpackers in Ipanaema, great place would highly recommend it. decided to take a walk to the beach and then chilled out. Jet lag setting in..............1st day of many !!!
