Hello everyone from windy wellington. Glad to get here after staying the night at a right arm pit on Wed night i made a boo boo on a booking and got kicked out the hostel and ended up in a shed with a german long story....anyway the flight to wellington was amazing it looked like we were gonna land on water the run way was so short but views amazing. The hostel I am now is more like a posh hotel its really nice and right in the city which is more like a town, really like it here. Went out last night with some people I met up with and did Karoke which was terrible I def can't sing, and then we saw this band called Ice Monkeyyyssssssssssssssssss who were wicked like Jack Johnson. Ahhh today was mint I got on this tour of Wellington at 9am and saw all where the Lord of the Rings was filmed the scenery is so stunning its picture perfect and only 10 mins outta town so you could cycle or walk there easily. We then got dropped off at this massive coastal walk which talk around an hour to walk which was just gorgoues normally you can see penguins and dolphins at funny times, normally at night time they all come out to play so gonna go back and find them. We then stopped at this real nice cafe with view of The big lord of the rings mountains its mad to actually be here!!! There is so much here we then went to these big botanic gardens which is in the picture and went down the monorail which takes you into town where there is quite a few good shops, loads of bars, clubs karoke!!! I met another really nice girl called Debbie on the tour and we went for a nice cupppaaa tea to discuss the mad people you meet when travelling and other travelling tales, we are gonna go out tonight for some drinks and check out welly. Don't wanna but prob gonna start job hunting on Monday erghhhh and work for a couple of months before heading down South. Apparantly they get quite a few earthquakes here bring it onnnnnnnn, the tour guide said he enjoyed them!!! Also winds get up to 100mph so could get blown away or wobbled away!!! Can't complain Welly looks like a really cool place to stay for a while and save some dollars. Will speak soon. Lots of Love Jo xx
