Hi, we're here in Christchurch - we arrived this afternoon VA is not here at present she's having a long luxurious bath we've booked into a hotel for her last night she flies home tomorrow and leaves me here with all this sunshire. I won't fill you in with everything we've been upto I'll just tell you a little and we can finish it off tomorrow before she goes.

The last time we did a blog we'd arranged to fly to Milford Sound take a cruise round the Sound and fly back to Queenstown. Unfortunately the company we'd booked with cancelled the early flight and told us we could go on the 10.30 flight then they informed us that this had been cancelled also. We decided to get our money back and drive there instead in our ever trusty Winnebago.

Milford Sound is a definite must if you ever come to NZ - we've seen some scenery but my goodness the journey after Te Anui is the best. I've got lots of photos that Chris will be able to put on Flickr once VA gets home - I'm giving her my memory card to bring home so you will shortly be very bored with NZ scenery. Once again we slept in our Mobile Home in a car park in a place called Cromwell - safe as houses.

We made a decision to extend our van by a day so after checking out a new destination with the NZ Tourist Information we found ourselves at an incredibly amazing place not far from Christchurch called Akorai - booked into a campsite and had a much awaited for shower. Crusty was not the word for how we felt - going back to nature was maybe a better description. Will carry this on tomorrow morning before VA departs.
