Headed for Taupo with the hope of trying out a skydive for the first time, so we booked in for the max of 15,000 ft and sat down to wait, but the weather closed in and gave us no option but to leave with no diving. Headed back to far side of town and checked out the honey centre, where they made alot of stuff from honey which we got to sample, including wine, mead (whiskey), ice cream, jam spreads and hand creams and stuff like that. Own down the road we called in at a prawn farm, the only geothermal heated one in the world where we had a go at a bit of driving with the hope of winning a few thousand dollar.
Called off for a walk around huka falls before heading into town for the evening.
