From Dunedin we headed for the Catlin's calling off first at Nugget point, where the lighthouse overlooks alot of rocks which look very like gold nuggets, or maybe chicken nuggets. A few seals were sun bathing on the rocks way below. On round the coast at Cannibal bay we told a walk with Skip along the beach where there were quite a few big sea lions having a nap, tho this didn't stop skip wakening a teasing them a little until then got up roared and chased us down the beach. At McClean falls we took another walk through the forest to check them out then headed on around to Curio bay right on the south coast of S Island to have a look for some dolphins, they were all away on hols (migrated for season) but I did spot a seal catch and eat a big fish. A short bit away at a petrified (fossilised) forest where the trees have turned to stone we waited for the yellow eyed penguins to come home after fishing all day where they had a difficult time hopping over the big rocks with their small feet/legs. Got to Invercargill where Libby picked us up in her rally spec car and took us to her new home not far from Winton.
