It was quite a rainy day today but still quite muggy, and today we went to Busch Gardens which is similar to Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. It has rides/coasters and also animal exhibitions. When we booked our Discovery Cove tour we received tickets to this park for free, it is about an hour's drive from Orlando and they also provide a complimentary bus. The animal attractions were really good, we loved the tiger exhibit, they have an underwater viewing area for when they are swimming but you can also walk under it so when we did the white Bengal Tiger was right above our heads, I got some cute pics of his big paws and also they have a dome you can look through which puts you at ground level of their enclosure, had an awesome view there too.I don't think you always get the chance of seeing the animals doing things, sometimes they are just sleeping or lying around like when we were at the Animal Kingdom the Gorilla was asleep, here atBusch Gardens the gorillas were sitting up and walking around. We also went on a train ride around the park which goes through a number of enclosures of the animals and at one stage we had to stop as the rhinos were near the tracks and for a little while would not move and they did not want to threaten the rhinos as they may get defensive and challenge the train but they moved on and then so did we.To catch the shuttle bus we had to meet at Orlando's premium Outlet mall which meant that's where we got dropped off and that's where we stayed for a few hours after we got dropped off, finally my first taste of shopping and in stores they don't have Mickey Mouse merchandise. Oh my god it was awesome, the sketchers shoes I brought in Adelaide for $100 I could have brought here in the USA for $30US which even when converted to Aussie dollars is no way near the Australian cost. I got a new pair of sketchers and then we were off to the Nike store where we got a new pair each for $100 total, what a bargain, will definitely be getting more before we leave. Anyway better start packing because tomorrow we are off to Memphis.
