Have come to Corumba to visit the Embrapa Institute and to meet coati researchers with whom I'll head into Pantanal tomorrow. Corumba seems on first impressions like a classic border town with more history than charm. it's cold too. The winter wind from the south is bringing a chilling front through. Sorry for all you friends and family out there who I've not been in contact with since getting to Brasil. Its been a touch busy. But I took a little window of time this afternoon, a break in logging footage of anteaters, to work out how to create this blog. And I'm hoping to keep updating it regularly as we travel around on filming trips and time with Leti, Liam and Lua. So let's see... Currently here near Miranda with Ted at the start of our giant otter filming...

Leti and the gang are at home in Ubatuba. This is the view for sundowners by the sea a few blocks from our house. Looking forward to getting back there next week.
