Day 7-
Up super early this morn, 5.30am Arizona time which unfort meant 4.30am LA and Las Vegas time. Checked out and Drove to the Grand Canyon to catch the 6.30am bus to Yoka point to watch the sunrise was absolutely stunning views and quite hard to take it all in, amazing sight for a big ditch. After the sunrise we then walked from the visitors centre west along the southern rim a couple hours. From there we caught another bus that took us as far as you can go west to Hermits rest, crazy old heritage town there with pretty sweet views. Caught the bus all the way back t the car and hit the road for Vegas. It was a 4.5 hour drive and very tired after the early start. We stopped 1 hour out of Vegas to visit the Hoover dam where they filmed transformers, amazing its all back up and running after the deceptacons destroyed it a few years ago. Emm was real thrilled to be wasting time looking at a big hunk of concrete and water! Loved it, anyways finally we arrived at Sin City to our hotel the MGM Grand, but not without delay. Emm put the wrong address into the GPS and we couldn't figure out why we were gong away from all the big hotels! The room is pretty nice, level 26 looking over the strip!! We had the buffet for dinner, felt sick after, then hit the tables, played a fun horse racing game that only cost 25c a game! Went for a walk to the Bellagio to pick up the tickets Reese bought us for Cirque de Soliel show "O" tomorrow night then back to hotel to bed! b*****ed after long day and big day tomorrow!

Day 8-
Glorious day today, didn't get out of bed til 10am! Went for a wander round the casino, checked out all the desperadoes gambling their lives away first thing in the morning! Booked some shows for the weekend, gonna check out David copperfield tomorrow night then Brad Garrett (Robert from everyone loves Raymond) comedy show, Robert himself is performing, seen him in the casino this morn, he's a giant!! I wanted to stop him and get a pic but Emm thought he would tell me to get lost.. As if. So from there we hit the Laps Vegas premium outlet stores which was pretty much the same as the Citidel in LA, now this was good and bad, good because we got to buy more cheap stuff we wanted to get, but bad because I bought a top at the Citidel that was slightly on the small side (not cause I'm getting fat with all the food, probs too much gym) but it had no bigger sizes there, and this one did, so I bought it again. Will prob give Kiel the other one for his birthday, and who said I don't care. We also found the GREATEST bar/restaurant of all time - Buffalo Wild Wings! Awesome sports bar! Back to the hotel then had a few drinks before heading to the Bellagio for the Cirque du Soleil show "O", and was quite easily the best thing I have ever seen in my life, it was a mix of god of war vs Dantes inferno vs final fantasy vs the olympics, so some pretty trippy stuff. Anyways off too bed after that, got some tiiiiyyyte pics from the show, will try send through.

Day 9-
Bit of a slow start to today due to the late-ish night we had last night, paid for all the whiskey/vodkas we had at the circus.. Got up late and went for a stroll down the strip to do some more exploring. Soo funny seeing all the people gambling still from last night. We stopped and had Hard Rock Cafe for lunch, possibly the worst meal and service we've had yet, felt s*** after it, lucky I didn't go on Yelp and give them a bad review! (Everyone over here rates ANYTHING on yelp pretty handy). After lunch we headed up the strip towards the stratosphere without realising its a bloody country mile away, so stopped half way and caught the monorail back to the MGM, wish we had know that was there earlier. Can't believe how many people try to give you titty bar pamphlets, Emm keeps taking them and forcing me to look at them! Stopped at a famous lolly shop and bought $20 lollypops that all the celebs eat... yippee. Went out for Mexican for dinner to Diegos, then on to David Copperfield. On purchasing the tickets to the show earlier in the week I purposely chose seats a few rows back to avoid getting pulled on stage, but after being seated for 2mins a member from show came and got me and took me back stage to meet David and asked if I wanted to participate in an act making a duck appear out of a bucket, pretty crazy s*** and a real highlight of trip so far, even got a signed picture of big Dave himself. Had a gamble after the show now off to bed last day in Vegas tomorrow :(

Day 10-
Last day in Vegas, was always gona be a boomer. So we finally managed to break our vegas hoodoo and get out of bed before 10am and went and hit the infamous Wynns casino buffet, we caught the monorail there and was a quick 10min trip. After finally getting to see the new Wynns & Encore casinos its fair to say they're prob our fav's and high contenders for hotels next time we come here. After over eating our fill again as we are becoming accustomed to (I had a toffee apple for bloody breakfast dessert) we made our way to the Fashion in Vegas mall. Unlike all the sweet outlet malls we have been hitting this one decided to charge regular prices, and have less stock on display. So b***** them we didn't spend much. After that we made tracks for the stratosphere, the 110 story high sky tower like building that has 4 theme park rides on top of it. Problem was it was at the poor as end of the strip and I made a few directional errors and we ended up walking most of the way, to Emms thorough enjoyment, gee that girl loves unnecessary walking! We then went back to the hotel to get changed before heading to Paris Las Vegas for dinner, then off to Brad Garretts (Robert from "Everybody Loves Raymond") comedy show. Can't describe in words how funny this was, Brad himself was only here for 4 days and was bloody hilarious, bagged on everyone in the front row especially the darkies and the oldies, so inappropriate but awesome. Had one last gamble on our favourite Lord of the Rings machine then off to bed to pack before early start tomorrow. Casual 10 hour drive to San Fran, may have been a poor logistical choice but we live and we learn.
