Day 14-
If yesterday was quiet, today was a mute. We got up late for our midday check out and hit the road for our airport hotel in LA. got stuck in a bloody traffic jam for bout an hour leaving San Fran which is ridiculous as was lunch time, still can't understand how so many people can be on the roads ALL THE TIME over here! Get jobs people. Anyways finally got on the highway with a couple of stops for lunch and pee stops, Mrs McPhee surprised everyone managing to go cold turkey against her car narcolepsy addiction, we were all (yeah just me) so proud of her. Anyways got to LA only to be greeted by another effin traffic jam at peak 6pm traffic, so a 5 hour trip dragged on a good 7 hours. Checked in to our surprisingly good Travelodge airport hotel and did some washing and ordered pizza in, I took the rental car back and just walked back to hotel, briskly as I was scared of the dark back streets. Gangster as and were only a couple of blocks from Compton, NWA hard. Off to New York in the morning and both super pumped for that, even if it is just cause we don't have to drive anywhere again!!
