Cleveland stops over of 3 hours: walked around, was misty, went to library for Internet. Chicago: Arrived 8pm Chicago time, after 17hours on the bus. Bus almost went with out us at service station, with our luggage! bit dodgy. Tis good because we saved money on 2 nights accommodation by using the bus and bus stations as beds. went to bed early. Got up, over head train to library, but didn't open till later cos its sunday. Walked North through half the city, seeing some nice architecture. Went up John HanCock tower (first tall skyscraper) The most recognized building in the world, what ever. Saw some great views of Lake Michigan and Chicago. Walked the magnificent mile, which was actually 3. Which wasn't that magnificent, but we saw quite a lot of stuff all the same. Walked through the park and lake front, which lead us to a giant mirror bean, and a big metal thing, see photos, when they go on. Walked back to library, 20 mins only to find we could only go on internet for 15 mins, so couldn't get everything done, came back the next morning tho. Walked to museum campus, only to arrive 10 mins after last admissions, doh! Now sitting outside museum on bench. But very nice weather the whole time and Chicago is very pleasant. Also saw some random person watching porn on the pc next to us in the library!!! What the hell!! Off to philli then DC over the next few days, signing out Joe and Rob. Peace.
