So yesterday we went to the wieliczka salt mine about forty minutes east of krakow. The salt mine here is one of the biggest in then world and has the deepest underground church in the world. It was warm in the salt mines which offered us some relief from the freezing temperatures we've been experiencing. After returning back to krakow in the afternoon, we decided to go to a cosy little backstreet cafe for what we both decided was the best hot chocolate we have ever tasted in our lives..and it came with a free chocolate muffin! Small things eh!
