Hello everyone! we are in the land of koalas, boomerangs and the great barrier reef (not to mention Kangeroos)! we've arrived safe and sound in cairns and are very happy that we've left the tuk tuks behind!! the weather out here is lovely averaging at about 25 oC! the hostel we're in really nice with a swimming pool and all the amenities we could need.

We're still in the process of planning what we're going to do before we start making our way south although we have already gone to see palm cove! it was very nice and very very expensive!! although we wern't expecting the murky water! we now think that we are going to sail the whitsunday islands, do a sky dive (joe), race down some water rapids, visit some koalas on magnetic island and probably some other random stuff in between like sea kayaking (as long as we can afford it all!!)
