Well Folks,
Things have changed so much for the better. Im so so much happier. Thank goodness. Andy and I got a train journey which was meant to be 44 hours heading right down south to Kerla. The train was not too bad at all much better than what I expected. A sleeper train. Was like bunkbeds. I got bitten alive though by fleas that were on the blanket I had but apart from that journey was pretty good.Much greener outside far more beautiful, felt healthier and had the feeling I would enjoy better.
We ended up getting off though after 26 hours as the moonsoon was really bad and the indians said Kerla was hit bad and Goa was safer bet!
Spent two days with Andy in South Goa in a small place. Very quiet nothing much open, season hasn't started yet. We had an amazing experience though we went for a walk on the beach heading for some town and HMM! got a bit lost and darkness was falling around us, whoops!. This fisherman rescued us and we went back to his house and had food with his wife and daughter, it was lovely. If it wasn't for him I think we may have been having a night on the beach on no! He let us use his motorbike to get home. I have never been on one before. It was really fun. Andy drove me on one in the rain and was pretty dark but boy was it a relief to get home. was really safe though no one on roads. We followed the man and his daughter on another bike. The family were lovely.Sorry Mum I know you don't like bikes.
I then left Andy he has had enough he is thinking of trying to get home within next few days. I went further north to meet Sharon from Ireland who I also met on the plane. Boy was I busy on that flight. Arrived here yesterday it has been brilliant, met up with a guy also from Ireland Enda and a guy from Australia. We went out parting last night. This is definetley more what I like. Had a fab night. Got a little drunk, he he!
I like this backpacking scene everyone so friendly everyone talks to you, was talking to loads of people last night from all over the place. Am so glad I came down south so that i've had this different perspective on India.
Today we have chilled out on beach well tried to kept getting hounded by Indians taking our photos. RAAAR!
And yipeah! I have changed my flight I leave on Saturday now from Bombay to go to Singapore. Can't wait.
