Hello everyone! Its monday morning here, and what a beautiful day!! Think I had better just go and sit on the beach and read a book or write in my diary or swim accross to the little island opposite the beach here: to top up my tan... or maybe all of the above..... aahhhh the life of a traveller!!! I am so glad I did this and came out here - I have met so many lovely people. Everyone is so friendly and it seem sreally easy to make friends. I really had no need ...

My friend Dannii and I hired little scooters today - and had to take a moped-driving test with a policeman! There were about 6 of us and he just watched us all ride up the street turn around and come back and that was it - we all passed! Hilarious!! Drove round the whole island - only takes about an hour... saw some lovely, lovely beaches! Went to an 'Island Night' last night and ate local food and watched the locals dancing too - very good! The town is open ...

Made it to the Cook Islands!! Only landed a couple of hours ago, so no reports as of yet - watch this space!! (oh, except I met up with Dannii on the airplane and she seems lovely, so am sure we will be hanging out together and getting to grips with this traveling lark!!) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello!! Well, it nearly got up to 100 degrees today!! The hottest day of the year so far! I did sit in Central Park fir a little while, but it was just too damn hot! Went for a stroll around a few areas this morning, but just too hot to do anything really. Fran and I went to a cool jazz bar in Grenwich Village last night - lots of fun!! Felt very 'New York'!! Flying to LA and then straight to the Cook Islands tomoro, Speak to you from the Cooks!! xxxxx...

Hello everyone!! I got to New York yesterday and am loving it!!! Been on the Staten Island ferry (its free dont you know) and taken lots and lots of photos already - everywhere you look it looks like a film set and a great opportunity for a photo! Havent worked out how to upload my photos yet (am in a FedEx shop), so might not be able ot put any on now as need ot meet Fran from work... but I will try and get them on before I fly to the Cook Islands!!
