kIA oRA!!! I've made it to New Zealand!!! Its absolutley fantastic to see Miki and Beej and to meet new baby Mathias!!!!! Because I was here last November it feels like coming home, and its so fabulous to have a hot shower when you know the water isnt going to run out and there arent ants running over everywhere and I dont have to wear my flip flops in the shower and I know I have a lovely double bed to sleep in tonight!!! This isnt what Manta Ray looked like, buut I'm sure it would have looked nice if it was sunny... as it was there was a water problem so we were only able to have showers at 5pm. But the resort itself was pretty cool. Its an ecological resort so the toilets were compost toilets - no flush and when you had done your business and put the paper down the toilet you just had to shut the lid... it was quite draughty!! Well, so we made it on the boat to the Oarsmans Bay Resort (myself, Dee, Theresa, Brid and Paul & Jane)... we all got shown up to the dorm and all we could think when we got there was "this is more like it!".... then we got told they had made a mistake and we all had to sleep in tents! Us four girls had our own tent that was sheltered by a roof but Paul and Jane had a little two man tent. But it was a beautiful day so we all sat on the beach and played in the wat...
