What can I say about Nimbin...... It's like a cross between Glastonbury and Amsterdam, if you catch my drift! Jimmy and Kelly drove me, Stewart and Beth there: we all checked into the Nimbin Rox YHA (except Beth) which was lovely, then had a wander around the town to get some supplies. Beth decided she wanted to go back to Byron to her lovely hostel there, but us four went back to ours and stayed sitting by the pool all afternoon playing scrabble and word gam...

Made it to Byron - I'm staying at a place called Aquarius, but Beth is at the Middle Reef Beachouse while Stewart, Jimmy and Kelly are all at a campsite in the van! Cosy!!! Seems cool here - much bigger than say Noosa, and lots of surf shops. Went down towards the beach, but ended up sunbathing on the grass so we didnt get sandy! Been having a lovely time in Brisbane, but Beth and I had to move out of the lovely apartment as Jimmy and Kelly left to pick up their Wicked Campervan, and Stewart went with them!!! So we've had to move to a regular dorm room, and I am not feeling very well... just so exhuasted!!! It's been exactly five months since I left England.... maybe my body's giving up??!! Well, I finally made it out of Noosa! Really did love it there and it's become my favourite place so far in Australia! Its like a cross between Bath, Jersey and a lovely seaside town. Beth and I were lucky enough to be able to get another couple of nights at Halse Lodge, so stayed in Noosa for an extra couple of nights.... We walked out to where the river meets the sea and it was stunning. The hostel has been one of our favourite so far: everyone is so friend...
