Well, I finally made it out of Noosa! Really did love it there and it's become my favourite place so far in Australia! Its like a cross between Bath, Jersey and a lovely seaside town. Beth and I were lucky enough to be able to get another couple of nights at Halse Lodge, so stayed in Noosa for an extra couple of nights.... We walked out to where the river meets the sea and it was stunning. The hostel has been one of our favourite so far: everyone is so friendly - I even helped Joel out behind the bar one night!

We're now in Brisbane and as we've hooked back up with Jimmy & Kelly and Stewart, we've managed to get the best accomodation I've been in since I started travelling! We're all staying at Bunk in Brisbane and have been able to get an apartment-style room - it's actually on two floors! Has two ensuite bedrooms with double beds (Stew is on the floor in mine and Beth's room, on a matress) and a kitchen/diner with a leather sofa and a TV!! It's awesome! Feels like we're staying in a hotel/our own apartment!! We actually all just stayed in last night to play poker and drink beer and goon (boxes of wine).

Had a wander round the city today and it seems really cool. There is a fake beach which we might go and sit at tomorrow, but this evening the boys have gone to play poker in a tournament, so us three girls just went night kayaking down the river!! It was so pretty to see the lights at night, but I now have a very wet bum! Off to get changed so we can go and cheer on the boys in their game.

The other three are leaving in a camper van tomorrow, but Beth and I have another day and night here until we leave on the OZ bus to go to Byron on Thursday.

It's been FIVE months today since I left England.... can you believe it? It so doesnt seem that long to me.... guess time really does fly when youre having fun!
