Just a quickie!!

So after the incredible Inca trail and our relaxtion inb cuzco it was time to get a move on. So we headed on to Arequipa where we met up with our dutch friend Remco, did a Colca Canyon tour which has provided me with some stunning pictures and also were lucky enough to see the flight of the condor!!!

After this trip we immedieatly headed down to do some go-karting with the point hostel which was quality, especially as you can imagine due to the lax south american health and safety laws...alot of bumping, shunting and foul play!!! woop!

After a short bus ride to Puno, a little town bordering lake titikaka we booked a 2 day one night excursion onto the lake. The first day consisting of visiting the reed islands, known as the uros islands, and then onto amanti island where we stayed with a local family who cooked us lnch dinner and breakfast (mainly, potatoes, eggs, beans...carb overload!!) and took us to the touristy fiesta where all us GRINGOS got dressed up in the local fashion and were forced to dance (very cheesy, very embaressing, there are pictures!!!).

the second day we visited another island which was so fascinating i cant remember the name!! (sense the sarcasm) and due to the poor quality of our guide (Who was an absolute berk!) we ended up leaving "early" (which meant on time for south america).

So now here i am sitting in front of the computer, waiting for 7am tomorow morning where we cross the border and head on to la paz, bolivia (staying at the infamous loki hostel, so alot of drinking will be done!!!). here we plan to do the "worlds most dangerous road" bike tour, and the underhand bolivian cocaine prison tour!!

from here on its off to the potosi mines and down to do the salt flat tour which is going to be insane!!

can not beleive we have been in peru for three weeks already and only have FOUR WEEKS LEFT!!! :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
