First and foremost apoligies for the lack of updates, i think the last one was columbia which is almost a month ago, but due to heavy travelling, illness and Inca trails i havent had time to uppdate.

Anyway in cuzco atm about to head off to arequipa, i have braved the four day hike to the famous Inca city machu pichu which was absolutly incredible! although the second day named dead womans pass nearly killed us!!! hiking up 1200m vertical in only 8km horizontal is very very hard!!! anyway the views were absolutly mind blowing and i have got some wicked pics to show everyone!

so the last day was amys birthday (pretty cool to do summit like machu pichu on you´re birthday!!) and we then managed to get back to cuzco in time for a meal and night out, but unfortunatly the birthday girl had picked up the stomach bug off me (we like to share!!) so it was an early night for us while the rest of the team had it large!!

Definatly made up for it the next night though, going out with some other english gap year-ers!

So before cuzco we were in Lima for a few days which was beautiful! and I have eaten some of the best foods´meals in my life here in Peru, and i must say that it is my favorite country so far, especially as i didnt really have high expectations! (although the border crossing at night was a bit sketchy and did what you are not meant to do, cross the border at night!! but were still here thank God!!) and Mancora, a little surf town was brilliant too, a few days just sipping up the sun and drinking, relaxation was goooood!

anyways, the plan now is off to arequipa and colca canyon country, then head into boliva via lake titikaka and off to La Paz, to do teh prison tour and to sample the infamous Loki hostel!!
