We took a nice walking tour today. First stop was Buckingham Palace. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of tourists. But, according to Laura, not nearly as many as in the summer. Watch the short video I took.
Next stop was the Parliament building. We walked around to the "Queen's Door" and I took a short movie there. A tour guide was telling a small group about the building and the significance of the door which is actually called the Sovereign's Door.
We walked by Westminster Abbey and decided not to go in. We might go back without Tommy if it works out but if it doesn't, it will be okay.
Lunch was next at a Pizza Express. Even though this is a "chain" we had a nice lunch and Tommy was good. He had lunch, too, and I got a sweet picture of him before we left.
On to Trafalagar Square where we stopped for a few quick photos and a short video. Tommy is a lover of fountains I've learned.
Our final stop was Covent Garden which Laura said had been a market place in early London.
