Week 6. Yesterday we had a day off.. me, Kim and Brydee (a Kiwi we work with) went to Delaware Water Gap to relax by the river. It was a nice day to just chill, fairly nice weather too.
Today we start week 6, safari week. On Wednesday, as we do every year, we will have a safari hunt. The non-counselling staff will spread themselves around camp and behave like the animal they are imitating.. the campers will have to find these staff, guess what animal they are and will receive points for each one figured out.
One more thing - during check in I was saying a Spanish tongue twister that I learnt and then a kid asked me a question and I answered in English (obviously).. as I did, a parent turned to Kim and said 'wow, her English is good' lol. My Spanish tongue twister must have been pretty impressive :-)
Check back soon xx

G'ma Ha ha. Good one! The accent must be pretty impressive too swthrt. Ive read the previous entries that I hadn't seen. I'm also extrememly proud of you, and know I can confidently expect any member of our family to save a little creature in danger. :-) I can tell it's a little bird when I enlarge the pic, but the angle makes it a little difficult to make out its head. Nev mind. Glad to hear the mum is feeding it. Hope it can fly off soon. Well, I've been keeping you informed this evening about the newborn royal baby, The Prince of Cambridge, born at 4.24 today, swthhrt, and keeping you updated about all the excitement in the country, and crowds around the hospital and Buckingham Palace, etc. Yes, I will also save you a few of tomorrow's newspapers as well, so you will be able to perhaps catch a bit of the atmosphere, and at least have a memory of the momentous occasion. Shame you've only got a short while to go there now, but I know you will make the most of it 100%. Good on you!! Goodnight swthrt. we'll spk on whatsapp again tomorrow. Love G'ma. xxxxxx
g-man Well yes, a few national things have been happening here, like the birth of the future king of our country! We've had really nice weather here, if you like heat and humidity, which I don't, I prefer to sit in the shade of trees, or by a river like you three did. Lucky you all. I saw my sister Margaret off on a charity bike ride today, after getting up at 4am to leave my house by 5am to pick her up at 6am!! And that was after attending a birthday party next door for my neighbours daughter. I was invited round because I am here and they expected to make lots of noise lol. I don't care about that sort of noise, and I enjoyed a lot of chat with the neighbours before going home for a few hours shut eye! Keep up the good work, and physio, and me too thinks it a shame it's getting nearer the end of this excursion for you. Love G-man.
