Great to hear about the matches and your safe arrival in Auckland. Well done! I expect the others have settled in by now and getting used to the NZ ways. I heard that a friend I worked with at SHS is now living in NZ and it seems as if everyone heads out that way. Heard from Rob and Lilla that they are still in Christchurch having problems with their van but enjoying themselves nonetheless.
We've just taken Karin to the coach - it's a bit sad but hopefully we'll get out to Munich before long. We had another good night last night and we discussed the relative merits of The Oktoberfest and Frocester Beer Festival! The Bavarian Schnapps was very good but international relations were strained at times!
The new series of Doctor Who has started so Chris is very excited and next week will be Easter. Will you have Easter lunch? What do they do out there? Enjoy your Spa day. Lots of love xxxx
The Boys
Hey everyone,
We are safely in Auckland, only took us 5 hours to drive up, thats a record i think! The Colts won our game quite convincingly 43-5 i think. I (Ian) scored! get me haha, to be fair it was a pretty basic try though. The prems lost, although Jimmy scored for them, it was actually quite disconcerting to watch the big guys that knock us around get stopped dead in their tracks by even bigger blokes! Its really good to see the other boys again, and we're going to spend the day in a spa today, yay!
Hope all is well xxx
Chris
Dear Ian, WE WON THE TROPHY! ST JOSEPH'S ARE THE BEST! I scored 3 tries and could have scored another one but I passed to Denis. I set up several tries in all Mr WHyte bought us chips.
Hope your matches went well.

Hope the matches have gone well. I expect you're in Auckland by now - have a great weekend with the others. Dad's taking Chris and Dan down to Dursley this morning for a tag tournament and I'm taking Karin in to Stroud and then on to Cheltenham with her colleague Klaus for last minute shopping.
We had a most enjoyable Friday night at B&L's last night and we're having Indian tonight for the farewell supper as Karin leqaves tomorrow morning. Ian, I've filled in five choices of accomodation (in order of expense) and I'm posting it off to Cardiff today.
Take care and have fun.xxx

Hi everyone, info for all those interested! The website to find those premier players that Jimmy is playing for is on Hawksbay Magpies ~ then you look in Napier Pirates and it gives profiles of the players our boys are rubbing shoulders with/training with/playing with. This according to Will....... Raining and very wet, so maybe no work today! Good luck in your matches lads ~ enjoy Auckland and luv to all the other boys as well. XxxxXxxxX PS: buy your apples quickly before the price going up due to poor weather in NZ.

Hey don't move before your parcels arrive, I sent mine last night too. Cost a fortune to post, should have put in lighter stuff! Better not get confiscated, I looked on lots of websites and it said things for personal consumption were ok and I checked there was no mud or seeds in the box (!). Too bad, you're having Guinness Marmite whether you like it or not! It's nice - honestly! Well, I like it.
Sorry to hear work was rained off, what a pain when you've been waiting for it to start. The work, not the rain, obviously! Don't be spending all your time in bed boys, you're the other side of the world - you could have done THAT here! (Heavens, I sound like my Mother! )Get out there and take some photos of your surroundings - some of the Art Deco buildings would be good pleeeeeeease Ian - they look great on the Napier website.
Well, that's all for now, better do some work to pay for posting parcels to NZ!! Lots of love - GM xxx
The Boys
Hey everyone,
Went back to work this week, but 'unfortunately' we got rained off this morning, so we havn't been at work today (shame!). It has ment however that we have the whole day to do stuff we need instead of waking up at 11 and not moving until about 3 which is the usual practice when there is no work. Me (Ian) and Jimmy have discovered one of the hidden delights of Napier, a Mongolian BBQ! Really good food and plenty of it for not alot, so i think we will be going there again sometime soon. We are currently in the process of looking for a new and bigger flat as we have Matt coming to join us within the week, and a growing list of people who are possibly going to come and stay with us.
Not sure if the talk of all this weird marmite inventions is really tickling the taste buds, its great by itself but umm with chocolate and guiness! I think we can leave that for other people to experience. This weekend Me and Wilare playing at home for the colts where as Jimmy has a game for the prems down in Havelock North which is only about 20 mins away. Then straight after our games we are shooting off to Auckland to see the other boys and to catch the end of the Miss New Zealand competition! Ohh and to pick Matt up which is the main reaeson for going up.
No other news as of yet, hope everyone is well and keep the messages coming, the boys x x x

Hi boys,
Just been over to the Rose and Crown where we had a chat with Darren. He told us that they're not selling the pub after all which we think is good news Also, on the school front, Dominic is leaving St Jo's and going to St Thomas More in Cheltenham. (That's Hester's Way and he's a brave man!) We're having an urgent Govenors' meeting to set the recruitment process in motion.Posted a little bit of Chocolate for you today Ian. Hope it doesn't get confiscated at customs! Still thinking of you and missing you, but glad you're having fun.XXX
