Day5 Bangor To Holyhead, UK
We arrive in Holyhead after travelling into a head wind for 15 miles. Never been so happy to arrive in Holyhead. 250 miles covered averaging 12mph. Just the sponsor money to collect now. Thanks to all for the kind messages on the way. Jim and Kev

re: DAY 3 - Llanidloes to Dolgellau, UKKev Evans Anyone looking to stay at Dol with a dozen bikes or canoes for that matter wouldn't find better than Ty seren. Nick is a top bloke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVmeeYwEiQw
re: DAY 3 - Llanidloes to Dolgellau, UKKev Evans for the geeks: Schwalbe marathon Plus Smartguard. Never punctured on these since forever. 2 thorny puctures on this tour The kind you have to dig out the tyre with an allen key!
re: DAY 3 - Llanidloes to Dolgellau, UKKev Evans no idea what I'm doing in this pic
re: Rhayeder, UKKev Evans Fantastic spot. Got the bike up to 45mph rolling down the next hill :D
re: 3 October 2012Kev Evans This little road that went on for miles through the Elan Valley (I think) in the pouring rain was one of my fave bits of the ride. beautiful scenery, narrow farm road up n down. ride slow and chat and take it all in. Opposite of cycling the A470!
re: 2 October 2012Kev Evans I loved this road over the Beacons, really desolate, long and free! JIm was about to barf his massive burger and chips at this point
re: 1 October 2012Kev Evans The photo doesn't do this plate of food justice. It was MASSIVE. Just before climbing up the Brecon beacons. How Jim didn't puke I don't know :D

re: 1 October 2012Kev Evans I'm reliably informed that all we need is lashings of sudocreme.
