Well we have moved hostels, now staying in a surburb called Glebe, can still walk into sydney centre though. Im afraid to say that the only way i can describe this hostel is as a ehole! but beggars cant be chosers. Although we,ve been separated up, so me and becky are in a dorm with german s. now i have nothing against german people but s are very rude an i came in an found them using my straighteners! i nearly had a fit! so we have been filling up our time doing lots of different things. like we went on a sight seeing bus around sydney, it was open topped so you had to watch out for the branches. New year was fab, went to a park in balmain to the watch the fireworks off sydney bridge. the only downfall was that everyone had the same idea we had to go early, as 13 hours early lol. over here they sell cheap boxes of wine, but as we discovered they are ly, an give you a sore head for days. managed to find some other scottish people to bring the bells in with, we easy to spot cos of the tartan, i had my mini tartan skirt on! although i must say that we are a very poor minority over here. So once we managed to recover from our hangovers, we took a trip up the blue mountains, our tour was a hoot and called us gangsters for some reason! well worth a trip! Cant wait to move on and leave this dump behind! Bring on Newcastle!
