I went to the museum! It was amazing!I learned that the Natural History Museum of Slovenia was established in 1821 as the Provincial Museum, museum of justifying botanical and geological collections. Some of the permanent displays include several collections: a collection of geological and paleontological, mineralogical collection Zois Hohenwartovo collection of shells of molluscs, herbarium collections, a collection of insects Ferdinand J. Schmidt, the emergence of insect collections, presentation of the human fish, Alpine, barjansko. and forest dioramo and collections of birds, reptiles, fish and skeletons of different vertebrates. The museum also operates Juliana Alpine Botanical Garden in Trenta, which is the first and only alpine Botanical Garden in the natural environment on the Slovenian territory. The garden grows about 600 different plants, including a large alpine and karst species.. I will include pictures for most all of these places soon! My computer won't upload any pics at the moment, but they will be coming soon!
Forever blogging it seems!
