Captains Log 00000001 - First of many !

Not sure where to start, but leaving my family and friends was the hardest thing ever! Tears are still occuring!! Traveling on my own - still not sure if it was the best idea but its to late! so I suppose id better grab all my strength and crack on! Its been a real steep learning curve already -

1. Make sure you have you visa inplace before you fly dont arrive at the airport and struggle to get checked in

2. Make sure you weigh your back correctly - use KG's not pounds - Due to this mistake I took lots of things out of my bag and now have 10kg to play with!!

3. Do not leave all you documents in the toilets at a foreign airport then run round like a headless chicken for 15 minutes - its not fun or good for the heart- so keep documents in hand at all times!

4. Dont pack anything you wouldnt want to someone to see in you hand luggage you will be the person who gets randomly searched at the boarding gate - luckily I just had a spare pair of pants which I thought was sensible to have!

Im going to find another computer as the keyboard keys are very stiff and struggling type! be back very soon to write more!
