10/09/10 Pushkar to Jodphur A 3 hour drive on a really bumpy road to Jodphur, the mosoon had ruined theroad so was really slow progress. Saw loads of the country on the drive though, and saw a 2 people and 2 goats on one motorbike an the driver was on the phone which was impressive and ironic, rural meets modern! We visited the fort (yet another one) but it was the best one yet, us westerners hadour own lounge and balcony so we didnt have to mix with the peasan...

7th - 9th September - 2010 Pushkar Left Jaipur this morning for Pushka, the city with the holy lake which as 500 temples and Ghandis ashes were scattered. There is a special temple here were millions of Hindus pilgrimage too, there walk 100's miles, insane. deepak did not dissapoint, we had eiffel 65 and the scatman in the car! DAY 2 Thankfully left dehli for agra, Deepak was there to pick us up and we stopped at loads of places on the way. We stopped at a hindu temple where they we having a massive celebration, we were made to feel really welcome and they showed us around and we joined in with all their worshipping stuff, did loads of Harri Krishna chanting, they tried to convert us which was hilarious, its to late for me! Day 1 Were all really tired this morning, we didn't sleep much last night due to the heat and the fact this is all a little bit scarey! We stepped out of the hostel and I nearly got ran over by a bike which was a good start. The place is filthy dirty the streets and side alleys are made up of rubble, there is rubbish and mud everywhere. We are staying near the main bazar whcih means there is loads of cool stuff to see, it's just like I imagined loads of stalls ...
