So, spent 4 days in Pushkar, not really doing anything apart from walking round the market, spending money on crap! And also drinking lots of chai (indian tea) and lassi! Pushkar itself is only a small place round a holy lake so there wasn't anything to see like other places but it was really chilled out and relaxing to spend a few days NOT sightseeing!! A note to our families, we were taken to the lake by a "Pushkar Priest" who made us say a prayer...

Arrived in Jaipur 4 days ago and spent a day sightseeing. We visited the Monkey Temple, the old city, and this crazy observatory place called Jantar Mantar which was built in the 16th century and is a load of giant sun dials and celestial spheres. (we wern't sure what they were either!) Have spent some time just chilling out in the hotel garden after a hectic week getting from place to place. The train journey here in 2nd class was definately a very crowded...

Got to Agra ok, the train was actually really nice as we were in first class!!! In the morning we got a cycle rikshaw and the driver was about 100 years old and couldn't manage the both of us (Agra is quite hilly!) so had to get his brother to help! Anyway we went to Agra Fort which was great, we just had a wander round there before our trip to Taj Mahal. We went to the Taj just before sunset and stayed until it was dark. So, after a nightmare day yesterday which basically involved us travelling back and forth to travel agents because we couldn't get away from the touts, we were really really fed up!! However today has been fab! We went on a little tour of Delhi with our driver Pratab (who looked like Mr. Myagi from karate kid!!) and saw some of the main sights of Delhi including the Red Fort, The Parliament buildings and President's house, Humayun's Tomb and the Gha...

Well, the first night and day have been crazy!! We arrived ok, but our taxi wasn't there so we managed to get one that came with a drunk/stoned driver who gave road rage a whole new meaning. Our room is lovely so we finally got to sleep at about 6am local time after getting over the fear of the pidgeon/rat in our air conditioning unit!! Today has been good. We've had a wander round and been stared at and a few men have tried to grab heather's boob! ...
