So we have made it to Cairns! Our Whitsundays sailing trip was so much fun... the weather was still a bit on and off but we were with a really good group of people. We sailed during the day to the resort we were staying with that night and had our first night on the island... there was an amazing pool there and although we shared a room with a few roaches it was good to get off the boat for the night! The following day we sailed out to Whitehaven beach.... this is meant to be one of the best beaches in the world... the sand has exfoliation and 'silver cleaning' qualities! It was beautiful there and we even got some sun! After speanding another night on the island we set sail for home stopping to do a bit of snorkelling on the way back... although the visibility wasn't great we still saw loads of fish and had some fun in our stinger suits! Overall a fun experience and we met people who we can see again further along our route! We reached Cairns on Monday and have been to the Kurrunda skyrail and scenic train... a bit of culture! We are off to our overnight coral reef diving/snorkelling trip today so I will update when we are back!
