Byron Bayyy....

We have been here for a couple of days and can only compare it to our experiences of Thailand... once again we find ourself lying on the beaches by day and visiting the bars and backpacker clubs by night! It's a very sociable place, full of people backpacking up the coast... everything is smaller here and theres a real sense of community...
Theres also a massive surfing vibe here... We cant even swim in the sea without getting battered by the waves!

I have been trying to upload some photos onto the blog from Thailand and Malaysia, but after saying that the upload had failed twice i then discovered that it hadnt so theres an album of duplicated photos! Anyway there is a selection from Thailand, Malaysia, KL and Singapore on there... more on facebook. I will upload some Oz shots when i have a few more!

We have booked our Fraser island and Whitsundays trip, so very very excited about those... looks like there will be some camping in order and maybe even canooing!
