This place is amazing! I should've booked way more than two days here. Saturday was pretty crazy. I saw the London Eye, Big Ben, the houses of parliament and a good 4 or 5 km of the city on foot. I really enjoyed the breakdancing buskers along the walkway of the River Thames! And today I spent about 4 hours in the British museum - its HUGE! Then again, everything here is huge! Tonight I'll either do a city tour by double decker bus or tour the Tower of London. Eating dinner alone is weird, and I love the way the wait staff take away the other setting so its super obvious to everyone that you're ALONE! The only other negative I've found about travelling alone is taking pictures. I'm going to have a tonne of headshots with obscured monumental backgrounds! Either that or I'm left to the whim of strangers and their dearth of photography skills.
Gotta run and cram in as much sightseeing as I can!

Dad Sounds like a great time. Can't wait to see the pictures...other tourists take good pictures....better than a headshot at arms length. Oh what fun!
Carolyne It's okay to eat alone, that way the handsome men aren't so scared to approach you. You're gonna have to hand over the camera to some of your fellow tour people ... all us poor losers back home wanna see more than your chin.
