Jen's Journeys
Although we expected a nice sunny day, we got, once again, a cold, grey and windy day. So, our plan to start slow became a plan to start monumentally slowly, organizing the suitcases and what not, and then we still headed up to one of the nearby beaches to just check it out. Turns out the one we went to was kind of a surfer town, completely devoid of surfs in such a ****** day. So we were back to our good old local mall by 4 pm, had a really good late lunch and watched yet another movie. This time it was that Paul Rudd/Jennifer Aniston movie - don't know the name in English. It was pretty funny in Spanish, so again, I'm thinking it would be even funnier in English. Then we headed toward the main plaza to meet Maite for our last dinner in Bilbao. We went and had a glass of wine first, then had a nice dinner and chat before heading home (barely catching the last metro at 11!). A quiet day, and now we are on a long bus ride to Barcelona. A good day to plug in the headphones and disconnect a bit. Tonight we already having a walking tour right when we get in, then 2 days of SERIOUS touring, and then on Monday, the Spain portion is done! Deb, are you ready for me? :)

Deb Oh, I'm ready. AND so is the DAM. The DAM weather looks to be in the mid 60's and no rain in site (for now). And if it's not, there's always the magical Dixon kitchen table to hang out at. Even better, the extended forecast for Munich is high 70's and little chance of rain. Sounds like perfect beer garden giant pretzel giant beer drinking get bike riding weather to me!! The question is…are YOU ready? Can’t wait! get here already.
BLT STOP! You're killin' me!
Jen Charles Dont worry - we will send plenty of pictures of beer drinking to you and Brian! :)
